It’s time to sing out loud! Voice in a Million is coming to Trent FM Arena Nottingham on Thursday 1st July 2010! This is a show like you’ve never seen before as over 3,000 children from across the UK, sing as one.
The schools, choirs and vocalists will perform together as they attempt to break a world record and raise funds for the British Association for Adoption and Fostering (BAAF).
Creative Director Jo Garofalo and her husband came up with the idea last year after adopting, she said: “We want to raise awareness for the need for families in England, you don’t often hear of the number of children here that need adopting.”
Voice in a Million aims to record thousands of children singing across the UK as they travel on a moving and musical journey through the story of adoption. The recordings will then be used to produce a record breaking single featuring one million voices.
