One of Britain’s biggest bands Simply Red are back at Trent FM Arena Nottingham on Thursday 9th December 2010.
Simply Red’s classic pop and elegant ballads have provided fans with uplifting and emotional tracks and the band are now set to say their farewells all over the world after a remarkable 25 years.
Mick Hucknall said: “I could never have imagined my career would bring me so far. We want to share this closing anniversary with all the people who have enjoyed our sound throughout the years. Celebrate it and gently move on to the second half of a musical story. We all hope to see you at a show somewhere soon.”
Alongside the farewell tour, the band has also released a new album, ‘Songs of Love’ – featuring their finest love songs and two brand new recordings.
The live tour will feature some of Simply Red’s most memorable hits, such as ‘Something Got Me Started’, ‘Fairground’ and ‘A New Flame’.
Tickets are priced at £37.50 and £42.50 (plus booking fee). Please note that there is a maximum of six tickets person.
