   Nottingham?

The National Ice Centre and Trent FM Arena Nottingham are located within the same building, which is situated in the heart of Nottingham’s famous and historic Lace Market area. Our landmark building is located just a stone’s throw from a range of fashionable bars, intimate restaurants, cultural attractions and high street shops which are all within close walking distance.

How can I get to the National Ice Centre and Trent FM
   Arena Nottingham?

Getting to and from the National Ice Centre and Trent FM Arena Nottingham is simple. Frequent buses, trams and trains, plentiful taxi cabs, adjacent car parking and wide pedestrian walkways all contribute to ease of access to the venue. East Midlands Airport is only thirteen miles away; directly accessible via a 24 hour, city centre shuttle service; likewise there are M1 junctions north and south within a twenty minute drive.

Where can I park?

There are numerous car parks within Nottingham City Centre, all of which are within close walking distance of the National Ice Centre and Trent FM Arena Nottingham. All the car parks are clearly signposted on the main approach roads.

Please note: as the National Ice Centre and Trent FM Arena Nottingham are located within the City Centre and close to numerous high quality car parks, the venue does not have its own onsite car park.

How can I book tickets for a concert or an event?

You can book your tickets in three ways:

Box Office
Open 7 days a week, 9am-9pm. The Box Office is located within the National Ice Centre and Trent FM Arena Nottingham, Bolero Square, The Lace Market, Nottingham.

How can I pay for my tickets?

You can pay by cash, debit card or credit card.
As of 1 June 2010, the National Ice Centre and Trent FM Arena Nottingham can no longer accept payment by cheque for any transaction.

What fees or charges apply when I book tickets for
   an event?

This can vary depending on how you choose to book your tickets and how you pay for your tickets. There will be a booking fee for all tickets purchased using a credit or debit card. There is a handling charge per order for tickets posted out, printed at home or collected at anytime from the venue.

The booking fee and handling charge may vary depending on the event, but both charges will be clearly stated at the time you book your tickets and before any payment is taken.

There is no booking fee or handling charge if you choose to buy your tickets in person and pay by cash at the National Ice Centre and Trent FM Arena Nottingham Box Office.

Which are the best seats, floor or tiered?

This is purely down to personal preference. Floor seats are all on one level and are very rarely tiered; these may not be suitable for customers who are short in stature. Please be aware that the upper rows of the tiered seating may not be suitable for customers with movement difficulties or vertigo.

When will I receive my tickets?

If you have asked for your tickets to be sent via post, you should expect to receive your tickets within ten working days of purchase.

If you have not received your tickets within this timeframe then please let us know as soon as possible. Please ensure that you advise us of any tickets which you have not received within 28 calendar days of the tickets being purchased.

On rare occasions the tickets may not be printed at the time of purchase, if this is the case we will tell you when you book your tickets and let you know when the tickets will be available.

I’ve lost my tickets, what can I do?

Please contact the Trent FM Arena Nottingham Box Office on 0115 853 3000 and hold for an operator. It is possible that the tickets can be re-issued, although it’s important to realise that there are some types of tickets that cannot be replaced (i.e. standing tickets or unreserved seated tickets).
Where tickets can be re-issued there will be a charge of £2.00 per ticket for this service.

Can I cancel my tickets?

We regret that we cannot refund tickets unless the event is cancelled or changes considerably. An example of this would be if the event is moved to a new date.

Can I exchange my ticket to another show or seat?

Tickets are non-exchangeable. Before you buy tickets always check the date of the show and the location of the seats you are purchasing and consider carefully if they are suitable. If you are purchasing tickets for someone else as a gift please check that the seats will be suitable for them.
It is not possible to exchange tickets to another show or seat once tickets have been purchased, as all tickets are non refundable. In some special circumstances, authorised exchanges may be made i.e. if disabled seating is now required. This is subject to suitable seating being available. Where we are able to exchange tickets there will be a charge of £2.00 per ticket for this service.

Can I relocate to another seat on the night of the event?

We are generally not able to relocate customers to another seat on the night of the event. Before you buy tickets always check the location of the seats you are purchasing and consider carefully if they are suitable. If you are purchasing tickets for someone else as a gift please check that the seats will be suitable for them.

In certain circumstances i.e. if disabled seating is now required, and at our discretion we may be able to relocate you to another seat within the same price band. This is subject to there being suitable alternative seats available and where we are able to relocate you there will be a charge of £2.00 per ticket for this service.

Do I need I.D. to collect my tickets and where do I collect
   them from?

Yes, you will need to present the credit or debit card used to purchase the tickets and sign a receipt on collection. This is to protect both you and the Trent FM Arena Nottingham from potential credit card fraud.
Your tickets will be available for collection from the Ticket Collection desk in the main foyer of the arena, on the evening of the event and once doors have opened.
Please note that the tickets can only be collected by the customer who purchased the tickets.

Hospitality packages are available for almost all events held at the Trent FM Arena Nottingham and can be booked on an annual or single event basis. Can I take food or drink into the Trent FM Arena Nottingham?

Food or drink purchased outside the Trent FM Arena Nottingham is not permitted to be taken into the Trent FM Arena Nottingham.

The Trent FM Arena Nottingham has plenty of food and drink outlets on the concourse, which offer a variety of food, drinks and snacks. There is also the T&D Cafe bar, where you can soak up the atmosphere and enjoy pre-concert drinks and food.

Can I smoke in the Trent FM Arena Nottingham?

The Trent FM Arena Nottingham, in common with all public buildings, is a non-smoking venue throughout. It is against the law to smoke in the venue and smoking will lead to ejection without a refund.
For the majority of events there will be pass outs for smoking, however for some events there will be no pass outs or re-admission of any kind. Where pass outs are not permitted this will be stated on your ticket.

Are there cloakrooms or lockers available?

We do not offer a cloakroom facility; however there are lockers available during all events, where you can store items including motorcycle helmets.

Is there a cash point?

There are three cash points in the Trent FM Arena Nottingham, two in the foyer and one on Lower Parliament Street.

What is there to do in Nottingham?

The City of Nottingham is known far and wide as the Queen of the Midlands. Robin Hood will be the first name on your lips but don’t forget Lord Byron, Alan Silitoe, Jesse Boot, DH Lawrence, the inimitable ‘Cloughie’ and our skating stars Torvill and Dean. Nottingham has legends and personalities aplenty but it’s essentially a vibrant, dynamic city populated with high street shops, bars, night clubs, cinemas, theatres, art galleries and history at every turn. We have some great local restaurants too! Home to the GB Speed Skating and Panthers Ice Hockey teams, we like to think it’s got two great ice rinks as well!!
