Nottingham Arena has expanded its marketing team with the appointments of Tom Watney as Web and Marketing Executive and Kim Blood as Marketing Executive.
Business is booming at Nottingham Arena, the East Midlands hottest entertainment, sport and conference venue, and to cope with the demand the marketing department has expanded by 30% in the last year.
Tom and Kim’s appointments will add additional support to the company which has gone from strength to strength in the last few years, attracting top quality events from conferences and concerts to comedy and sporting shows.
Tom, who joins the team from Henton & Chattell, will take on the key responsibility of developing the venues website and growing The Members Club database.
And after just over a year at MidlandHR, Kim joins the department to help push forward the venue as the first choice conference and hospitality destination in the region and support the event side of the business.
The Sales and Marketing Department, headed up by Director Julie Warren, now totals 13 and she’s delighted that her team keeps growing: “It’s great to welcome Tom and Kim and their previous experience and knowledge will help us push the Arena forward as the region’s premier venue for business, sport and entertainment.

Marketing is not the only department to experience a growth, the work force as a whole has increased by 17% in the last year with new positions including Events Managers, Health and Safety Manager and extra Box Office staff and Finance Administrators.
