There was only one place to be in town on Sunday 4th July and that was Trent FM Arena Nottingham. The venue opened its doors to host the Access All Areas tour and Future Sound of Nottingham competition! All for free!

Throughout the day the backstage corridors and dressing rooms through to the main arena bowl and all our conference facilities were opened up for all to see.

If you didn’t get chance to make the tour, check out our exclusive Access All Areas pictures!

With hair and make up demonstrations, Pyro technique displays and exclusive views of the srat dressing rooms visitors got a real feel for what the venue is like when an event takes place and a super star comes to town.

In the evening the lights were turned down and the music turned up as the finalists of the Future Sound of Nottingham battled it out in front of the 1000 strong audience and judges.

The finalists included –
The Swines
Severn
Spirytus
Long Dead Signal
Skiman

The prize in question was the opportunity to perform live at this year’s Splendour on the 24th July and the competition was certainly tough.

After a series of performances from each band the judges decided on the winning band to be Long Dead Signal!

The judges thought the band’s presence and music was very tight and that they will make great edition to Splendour in a few weeks time!
